Our praise worship is Acapella (no instrumental accompianment) based and Bible centered. We believe that faith and obedience to Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God will lead to repentence, baptism, and a faithful life.
The Gateway Chrurch of Christ has been serving the Metro Detroit Downriver area for over 60 years. Our congregation was first established in Wyandotte and later move to Southgate in the 70's.
Our Elders are Michael Tittle, Carlis Herrington, Dan Tarjeft, and David Turnmire. They oversee the congregration's spiritual and guidance needs. We also have several Deacons who coordinate several programs and facilities of the congregation.

Gateway is very dynamic and active. We have many ministries and activities for all ages: Associates of Rochester College, Bible Bowl, Chronic Illness Support Group, Family Fun Night, Men’s Winter Barbeque, Prayer Partners, Ladies Quilting, King’s Kids, Pre-Teens & Teenagers,Young Adults, Middlers, Golden Agers, VBS, Potlucks, Visitation Program, and More …
The Teen Program is very involved with devotionals, walleyball, Cedar Point trips, Winterfest in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, mission trip to North Delta in the Michigan UP, and many other activities.
